I had a great stay at this hotel in a very good location. It was just a 10-minute walk from the town center, making it convenient for exploring the historic sights. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing a map and information about free tours. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, including twin beds and a bathtub. The breakfast offered a nice variety, with different options each day.
No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

Helpful and kind reception, shops and city center around, old city and mountains just "behind the corner", clean hotel, good connection to all bus stations in Brasov.

This budget-friendly hotel is located in a peaceful area, just a short walk away from the bustling city center and the Theatre. You can take a leisurely stroll up Tampa mountain for an unforgettable view of the city. the rooms are cozy and clean, with ensuite bathrooms. the helpful staff speak fluent English and Russian. the breakfast is delicious, and the museum-like displays of medals, costumes and musical instruments are a fascinating sight to behold.
The walls are quite thin, so it may be a bit noisy in the summer months.

The owner speaks English, French and some German. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood within a short walking distance of the old town and with good public transportation connections. The room rates are low. Breakfast (2 Euros extra) was very good. The large TV in the room was nice.
Some of the staff do not speak much English. The bathroom in my room was so tiny that my nose was over the sink when using the toilet. An odor indicated that maybe the shower curtain should have been replaced weeks ago or (more) disinfectant used when cleaning the bathroom. The mattress was barely OK.

The staff is really kind, friendly and always willing to help, the food of this hotel (which is very small) is just delicious, the price is great and it is just a walking distance from everything. It is an old building that fits perfect old Brasov.

Spent the Easter break in this hotel and could not have been happier with my choice. the rooms were clean with interesting decor and there was always hot water. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help with any questions or needs. the hotel's key location made it easy to explore the local attractions and there was a great market around the corner. Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling. But what I loved the most was the lovely patio area where I spent hours relaxing.
I have to mention that the lighting in the rooms was not great, and it felt a bit dull. the traffic noise could be disturbing, even at night, if you're a light sleeper.

It was basic but fine, friendly staff even if their English was limited. Map of the town in each room to take with you (v. useful). Short walk to the old part (5-10 min).
Don't expect anything grand (I wouldn't say it's 3 stars, the name "hostel" is rather accurate) but given the price, it's only normal. Cleaners don't seem to come during your stay (I stayed 2 nights) and although there are phones in the rooms, they apparently don't work.
